Operations Analyst

Financial Analyst – Business Management Support Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Rate: $52/hour Summary This role functions as a Financial Analyst supporting the Business Management organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic, detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of AP/AR/GL functions, expense tracking, forecasting, and what-if analysis, as well as experience supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities. Familiarity with tools such as Coupa, SPM, SAP Fieldglass, or similar financial systems is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Support organizational efficiency through financial and operational analysis that enables data-driven decision-making. Track spending, analyze variances, and prepare forecasting and scenario-based ("what-if”) analyses and reports. Collect and analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business planning and performance monitoring. Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and implement process improvements. Assist in defining, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare executive-ready presentations and summaries for leadership. Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in financial analysis, business analysis, operations, or process improvement. Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred. Familiarity with financial systems and procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP Fieldglass, or SPM. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
