DOEPosition Responsibilities:Monitor a diverse array of production systems and equipment to identify any issues. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Complete routine preventative maintenance thoroughly and on time. Troubleshoot and program PLCs. Troubleshoot and repair HMI systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues. Understand and follow all Safety procedures such as lockout-tagout and wearing proper PPE. Understand and practice Quality System requirements and documentation (i.e., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Essential Skills and Experience:Associate technical degree or vocational training in industrial field or similar, and 5 years of manufacturing experience is preferredOR a minimum of 7 years combined training and experienceIn-depth understanding of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC softwareExpertise in troubleshooting ladder logic, making edits, and performing at least some programming Knowledge in industrial communication pathways such as ethernet/IP or ProfibusAbility to read electrical schematics and efficiently use a multi meterUnderstanding of electrical systems such as 480-volt and 24-volt circuitsSolid experience with fluid pumps and AC/DC motorsStrong mechanical aptitude and experience working on gears, gearboxes, chains, bearings etc. Understanding of pneumatic systems such as solenoids, cylinders, and diaphragm pumps Displays initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervisionCommitment to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standardsCompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
