About zaimlerAI agents can't reason over data they don't understand. Enterprise data today is fragmented across dozens of systems with no shared context, meaning, or structure, and that's why most enterprise AI is failing. The shift from copilots to autonomous agents is creating an entirely new infrastructure layer, and we're building it.zaimler is the context infrastructure for the agentic era: a platform that automatically discovers domain knowledge, maps relationships, and gives AI agents the semantic understanding to operate with precision at scale. Imagine knowledge graphs that support real-time inference, built for systems that need to reason, not just retrieve.zaimler was founded by Biswajit Das (ex-VP Engineering, Truera), a Data Infra veteran and former Chief Architect at Visa, and Sofus Macskassy (ex-Director of Engineering, LinkedIn), who built one of the largest knowledge graphs in production in the industry at LinkedIn. We're a small, senior team at the seed stage, deploying with major enterprises across insurance, travel, and technology. If you want to build infrastructure that the next decade of AI runs on, we'd love to talk.About the roleAs a Full-Stack Engineer at zaimler, you'll work across the stack to design and implement features that power how users interact with context, data, and AI systems in production. You'll collaborate closely with backend, platform, and ML engineers to translate complex system behavior into intuitive, reliable product experiences. This is a hands-on role with real ownership; you'll help shape both the architecture and the user experience of a core platform used by engineers. What you'll doBuild End-to-End Product Features: Design and implement features across frontend applications and backend services, from APIs and data models to user-facing interfaces.Develop Scalable Backend Services: Build and maintain backend services that support product functionality, focusing on correctness, performance, and long-term maintainability.Craft Thoughtful Frontend Experiences: Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces that expose complex system behavior in a clear and usable way.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with platform, data, and ML engineers to understand system constraints and translate them into cohesive product experiences.Own What You Ship: Take features from idea to production, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration based on real-world usage.Improve Developer & User Experience: Help refine APIs, tooling, and UI patterns to make the platform easier to understand and faster to use. What We're Looking For4+ years of experience building production software across the stackStrong experience with backend development (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar)Experience building modern frontend applications (e.g., React, TypeScript)Familiarity with API design, data modeling, and service-oriented architecturesComfort working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teamsAbility to reason about system tradeoffs and make pragmatic engineering decisionsNice to haveExperience working on data-heavy or developer-facing productsFamiliarity with distributed systems or ML-adjacent platformsExperience with Kubernetes or containerized environmentsExposure to observability, performance tuning, or production debuggingInterest in AI systems, infrastructure, or developer toolingWhy JoinWork on foundational infrastructure powering production AI systemsHigh ownership and direct impact on product directionSmall, senior team with deep systems experienceOpportunity to shape both architecture and user experience from early daysFull benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k).We sponsor H-1B visas and assist with immigration processes. We value builders over résumés.
