Details: SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERLocation: In Office, Westlake Village, CACompensation: $105,000 to $130,000 baseOverview* Drive quality across connected hardware, firmware, cloud services, and dashboards* Improve test coverage and reduce risk in production releases* Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams* Scale QA processes and validation workflowsResponsibilities* Validate firmware, hardware, backend services, and dashboards prior to release* Define testable quality expectations with engineering teams* Participate in release readiness and risk assessments* Reproduce and triage customer-impacting issues* Support shipment-related validation as processes mature* Contribute to automated testing across device, API, and UI layers* Improve QA workflows, documentation, and test coverage* Communicate quality risks and release readiness to stakeholders* Partner with development partners to ensure delivery timelinesJob RequirementsMinimum Security Clearance: NoneDetails: Requirements* Experience testing IoT platforms, distributed systems, or cloud applications* Familiarity with embedded firmware validation and hardware-integrated testing* Experience validating APIs and backend services* Strong test design, regression strategy, and risk-based testing skills* Experience validating production releases and assessing customer impact* Strong cross-functional communication skills* Ability to identify quality gaps and communicate risk clearly* Comfort operating in fast-paced product environmentsNice to Have* Experience with test automation frameworks* Scripting experience for automation* CI pipeline familiarity* Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or logistics environments
