Laser Operator

General: Use of laser and water jet equipment to cut various materials ranging, not limited to, wood products, fiberglass, steel, aluminum, urethane, rubber, acrylics. Candidate must be flexible with schedule. Tasks: * Ability to operate laser, milling, water jet cutting systems. * Ability to use calibration tools to properly ensure machine & tool tolerances. * Assembly of proprietary products from pre-cut materials. * Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools. * Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling. * Clean & maintain department equipment. * Maintaining equipment preventative maintenance schedule logs. * Required to understand and use safety equipment reflective of department. * Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help. * Able to complete and fulfill paperwork required for personal time sheets in a timely manner. * Cross-training and support of other production departments. * Treat all Marbach information and customer information in a confidential manner. * Inform supervisor of problems or issues which affect the companies ability to meet customer requirements. * Department quality control * Read and understand work order paperwork. * Repair/maintain high pressure pipes on water jet equipment. Physical Requirements: * Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling. * Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment. * Able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to sharp objects, fumes or airborne particles and a loud noise level.
