Title: Systems Quality Assurance Analyst Location: West Des Moines, IA Alternative Location: Charlotte, NC Chandler, AZ Duration: 12 months Work Engagement: W2 Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary Benefits Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Quality Assurance. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Quality Assurance challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Responsibilities: * Document test cases and risk research and create test plans * Record test progress and results * Identify and track issues throughout testing * Perform manual and automated testing * Consult with users providing advice and direction * Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness * Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes * Research system features being tested * Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy * Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects * Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives * Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals * Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff Qualifications: * Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. * 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education * 2+ years of HP Application Lifecyle Management (HP ALM)/Octane experience * Knowledge and understanding of test plans, test strategy, test scripts, test procedures, ambiguity reviews, and expected results * Experience with writing detailed manual scripts * Previous experience with defect root cause analysis * Experience documenting and communicating testing results across an organization * JIRA experience * Knowledge and understanding of various types and levels of testing (e.g., unit, integration, and system testing) * Working knowledge of tools such as Postman, Splunk or Oracle SQL Developer * Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Strong collaboration and partnering skills * Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment * Fraud & Claims Management Experience
