Our employees are one of our most important resources, which is why we promise to deliver.Dolese Delivers:Stable FoundationTreat with RespectSafe EnvironmentsEmployee FocusJOB SUMMARYThe Concrete Sales Representative is a sales and service position responsible for marketing and sales of ready mix concrete and related customer service in an assigned territory and with an assigned list of accounts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential clients in and around the marketArrange lunch meetings or events with assigned customers, including hosting customers after-hours, on weekends, and potentially travelling out of townFollow up on leads and create new customer base through cold calling and relationship buildingReview, discuss, and present proposals and pricing with team members and clientsParticipate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows on occasion, including after-hours, weekends, or potentially travelling out of townManage sales process from initial bonding and rapport to fulfillment and post sellAssist customers in scheduling delivery times with Dispatch and coordinating with appropriate personnelEstablish and maintain productive working relationships with Logistics and Operations personnelWork with Quality Control personnel to ensure product meets specific requirements of the customerIdentify and resolve client concerns and issuesMaintain, update, and share all projects and opportunities in CRM to appropriate Sales Representatives within the Dolese divisionsMonitor CRM project list to ensure all projects within assigned territory are recordedEnter data for new projects generated through sales effort in the field or through sales callsAssist Sales Coordinators as needed by gathering data, including specs and quantities, used to generate quotesAttend pre-construction meetings as necessaryMonitor concrete deliveries in assigned service area each day and visit at least a few locations each day in assigned service area that are receiving concrete to touch base with the customers at the field levelFollow all safety policies, procedures, and participation in the Catwalk programRegular attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredAt least two years of sales experience preferredCRM experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesConcrete technical knowledge preferredStrong knowledge of local and rural geographic areasExcellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationshipsAbility to represent the Company and sell all product offerings to customersAbility to greet and assist customers courteously on the telephone or in personAbility to read, write, and figure mathematical calculations to verify concrete quantitiesSelf-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervisionWillingness to participate in and apply sales training, instruction, and techniques, including the Sandler Sales SystemMaintain good safety and driving recordsWillingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekendsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSLift, push, or pull objects of various dimensions up to 30 lbs. of weight frequentlyAbility to perform 80% sedentary work and tolerate prolonged standing/sitting/walkingAbility to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feelAbility to verbally communicate, hear, and seeEEO Statement:We consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetics, marital or protected veteran status.
