You'll be empowered to improve systems, elevate people, and bring the organization to the next level of safety maturity.For the right leader, this role offers visibility, influence, and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on a company that is actively investing in its safety program.The OpportunityOur client is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead and grow the safety function across multiple production and fabrication facilities in Everett and Sedro-Woolley. This is the top safety role in the organization, responsible for setting direction, overseeing site safety leads, driving compliance, and building a proactive safety culture across manufacturing, steel and aluminum fabrication, assembly, and construction operations.You'll work closely with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Executive Leadership to identify risk, remove roadblocks, and implement practical, field-tested safety solutions that support both compliance and productivity.What You'll DoSafety Leadership & CultureEstablish and reinforce a strong, company-wide safety culture rooted in accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.Lead and mentor site safety leads while serving as the senior safety authority across all locations.Act as a visible, approachable presence on the shop floor and in the field - earning respect through credibility and consistency.Compliance, Risk & AuditsEnsure full compliance with OSHA, Washington State L&I, and applicable safety regulations across all operations.Maintain OSHA 300 logs and all required reporting.Conduct routine inspections, self-audits, and zone inspections across sites.Prepare the organization for regulatory audits and manage relationships with inspectors and agencies.Program Development & Continuous ImprovementEvaluate existing safety programs, identify gaps, and lead meaningful improvements to SOPs, training, and documentation.Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions - identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.Use data, trends, and injury metrics to guide decision-making and prevent future incidents.Training & Field EngagementDevelop and deliver training for employees, supervisors, and safety team members - including crane, forklift, rigging, and equipment safety.Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and ensure follow-through on action items.Provide hands-on coaching to production teams, maintenance, and site supervisors.Operational PartnershipWork directly with Operations and Production leadership to solve real-world safety challenges.Navigate gray-area field conditions with sound judgment - knowing when work can proceed safely and when it must stop.Step into site leadership coverage when site supervisors are out to ensure safety continuity.What You Bring - Required Qualifications5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing safety teamsStrong working knowledge of OSHA and Washington State L&I regulationsOSHA 30 (or higher) certificationFirst Aid / CPR certificationStrong reporting, documentation, and communication skillsProficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and safety reporting systemsThe ability to be firm, fair, and respected - not a pushover, but not a roadblock eitherHighly Preferred ExperienceHeavy equipment, overhead rigging, and crane operationsForklift safety and certification programsEmergency response and incident managementIndustrial manufacturing or fabrication environmentsExperience working directly with regulatory agencies during audits or inspectionsCompensation & Benefits$41 - $45 per hour100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision40% coverage for dependentsHSA401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation, sick time, and holidaysCompany-paid and supplemental life insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityAccident and hospital insuranceWork EnvironmentBased primarily in Everett, WA or Sedro-Wooley, WA with regular travel to the second facility (typically at least once per week)Manufacturing, steel and aluminum fabrication, assembly, and construction environmentsStandard schedule:Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 4:30pmFridays: 6:00am - 2:30pm (mandatory overtime - with overtime pay)Hands-on, highly visible role in active production and jobsite environment
