Our tireless global team is laser-focused on cybersecurity, arming organizations with the people, platforms, and perspectives they need to conquer whatever tomorrow throws their way.About the Role:This position will be an in-house generalist role responsible for building and maintaining frameworks and processes which ensure the company adheres to its compliance requirements as well as supporting the Go-To-Market function negotiating Master Services Agreements and related contracts. There will be an emphasis on Privacy and Security standards and additional engagement with other areas driven by business needs.Preference for candidates in the following metros: Houston TX, Kansas City MO, Orlando FL, Rogers AR, although qualified Remote candidates will be considered. Responsibilities:As a privacy subject matter expert, maintain processes and remain up to date on legal and regulatory changes to facilitate compliancePresent management recommendations on operationalizing initiativesInterface with internal stakeholders to gather inputs/requirements and engage in dialogue with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and clients, as requiredReview and negotiate client and vendor contracts to ensure alignment with company policiesAssist in managing insurance portfolioEngage in cross-functional discussions to advise other departments including Technical, Marketing, and SalesSupport incident response efforts by assessing privacy impact, coordinating investigations, and managing required breach notificationsDevelop and deliver privacy training programs and awareness initiatives to promote a culture of compliance across the organizationRequirements:Minimum Qualification: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree5-10 years' experience negotiating IT/SaaS contracts and handling privacy mattersDemonstrated experience building or maintaining processes/frameworks fostering company compliance, preferably in a high growth private company settingKnowledge of privacy laws required, especially for EU, US, Canada, UKMust have prior experience engaging directly with clients and/or external stakeholdersExperience in insurance matters would be considered an assetExperience managing personnel would be considered an assetSelf-motivated and proactive in problem-solving and process improvementCyderes is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
