Press Brake Operator

JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for operating stamping presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipmentResponsibilities include: Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap Maintaining area cleanliness Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print Operate a forklift for daily operations Data entry on computer system Perform daily checks on machines Additional items as assigned by managerPRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANYThis position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, project managers, and area supervisor.COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of ability to operate various stamping presses and secondary equipment Have basic knowledge of blueprint reading Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to be detail oriented Ability to be reliable and trustworthy Ability to work well in a team environment All Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being: Customer-Focused Passionate about Work Solution-Oriented Driven by Integrity EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School graduate or GED 1 year of experience operating stamping presses and secondary equipmentThe Armor Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action employer.
