About the job Quality Engineer II Position SummaryThis role supports quality-related workstreams focused on Post-Merger Integration (PMI) efforts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following outlines the core responsibilities associated with this position. Additional tasks may be assigned based on business needs or reasonable accommodations:Contribute to key integration pillars including metric alignment, ISO standards, quality management system (QMS) gap analysis, and other areas essential to successful post-merger alignmentFacilitate communication and coordination across multiple operational sitesReview and approve proposed modifications to the global documentation structure based on outcomes of gap analysisProvide regular project updates to senior leadership and the integration management officeDelegate and review work assigned to team membersEvaluate production issues and recommend or implement changes to upstream and production systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Productionto support continuous improvement initiativesDrive internal quality performance and practices through strategic initiativesApply advanced Excel capabilities to analyze complex datasets and support data-driven decisionsPerform other duties as assigned by the managerSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities at this time.Physical RequirementsWhile carrying out the responsibilities of this role, the employee must be able to:Frequently lift and move up to 5 pounds independentlyWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, onsite position in a professional office environment with occasional work on the manufacturing floor.The role requires the use of standard office equipment and may involve exposure to a range of conditions. Noise levels may vary from quiet to moderate or loud.QualificationsBachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experienceIn-depth understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS); audit experience preferredDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographic regions at all organizational levels35 years of audit-related experience, ideally within a manufacturing settingStrong commitment to quality and professional standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-directed with proven ability to manage priorities and workflows independentlyExcellent interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with quality methodologies such as Lean, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, etc.Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
