Installation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Security Cabling Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage cabling, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Qualifications to Be ConsideredMinimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience installing Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic, and coax cabling with proven troubleshooting skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.High school diploma or equivalent.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, test, and certify a variety of cabling systems, including copper and fiber.Perform closet buildouts, structured cabling installation, and equipment setup.Operate and maintain fiber testing tools such as OTDR and other fiber certification equipment (experience a plus).Complete assigned work orders and daily tasks on time and within budget.Maintain professional communication and conduct at all times.Requirements & SkillsAbility to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documents to determine cabling layouts and service needs.Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing cabling system issues; able to make repairs as needed.Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Team player with strong collaboration skills.Willingness to travel to various job sites and work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift.
