Electrical Foreman

Who we areCapitol Valley Electric is a nationally recognized electrical contractor located in Sacramento, CA. We work on a wide array of projects including multi-family, commercial, utility scale solar, and renewable energy.We are currently looking for an Electrical foreman to help us run a multifamily project in Sonoma county's beautiful wine country.What you'll doRead and interpret blueprints, project plans and schematics to understand project scope and requirements.Manage subcontractors and supervise a crew of electricians effectively to optimize productivity.Order and coordinate delivery of materialConduct regular job walks and site inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is completed correctlyComply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedulesAudit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.Assist superintendent in employee evaluationsCommunicate with project managers and clientsEnsure all work is performed in compliance with NEC codes and Title 24 requirementsProvide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance.RequirementsValid CA General Electrician LicenseGraduate of a state approved apprenticeship program a plusAbility to interpret specifications and read blueprints.3-5 years' experience in electrical sub-contractor supervisionAt least 8 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use buildingsOSHA 30Excellent verbal and written communication skillsModerate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPhysical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights.
