Are You a Good Fit For Us?The IT Intern will provide support to the Information Technology department. The IT Intern will support daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to ongoing projects. This role includes providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with team members to implement solutions. The Intern will also have opportunities to learn about emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements within the IT department.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issuesSupport routine updates, backups, and performance monitoringHelp document IT procedures and user manualsAssist in monitoring and resolving connectivity issuesAid in the installation and configuration of applicationsProvide basic training and support for new toolsOrganize and manage digital filesSupport ongoing IT initiatives through research and data collectionHelp implement security protocolsWork with the IT team and other departmentsCollaborate with IT Manager and Director of Operations on IT-related projectsAd-hoc duties as assignedOther duties as assigned by Supervisor QualificationsPursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively with others.Basic knowledge of common IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidential documentation.Must be able to provide between 10-20 hours of availability onsite 3x a week. Minimum 6-month commitment. 1 year is ideal. $0 - $0 one-timeTHIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIPWorking ConditionsThe primary work location is our Rochester clinic. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair, and office supplies will be provided in either office.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or through virtual telehealth sessions conducted on a computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period, and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 40 pounds, when needed.Direct Reports: This position has no direct reports.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
