Role & Responsibilities Support the "spark" in the classroom.Complete school-sponsored AMS Montessori training.Foster a peaceful multi-age classroom environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional development for children. Implement Montessori philosophy and curriculum in support of Montessori Leads.Support the delivery of lessons that accommodate for differences in children learning styles.Introduce resources, including technology, at the direction of Montessori lead.Assist Montessori Lead guide in maintaining an engaging, inviting, and respectful classroom.Practice classroom management procedures and standards for desired behavior of children.Establish and maintain open communications with Montessori Leads.Maintain a clean and orderly classroom.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School DiplomaPrefer someone pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degreePhysical RequirementsAble to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.Able to lift at least 25 pounds.CompensationPay range of $14.40 to $17.60 per hourAbout our OrganizationSTEAMspark is an AMI USA Aspiring School, a candidate for AMS School Accreditation, and fully accredited through Cognia, which includes NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI.
