SUMMARY Check In - Interviews new patients and records accurate data on appropriate systems by performing the following duties. TOP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Welcome and check in patients in person and on the phone Obtain patient demographics carefully and accuratelyProtect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial informationAssists in keeping the work area and patient waiting areas clean Collects co-pays SUPPORTS MISSION, VISION, AND VALUES OF THE CORPORATION. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE One year certificate from college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. WORK ENVIRONMENTWorks indoors and near others. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
