CNC Mill Setup Machinist and Operator Weekend Position

Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off  We are seeking a CNC Mill Setup and Operator Machinist to join our team on our weekend shift. You will work 36 hours (Friday- Sunday), get paid for 40 hours (4 bonus hours) and enjoy 4 days off in the week! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. Responsibilities: Job preparation including building tools, fixturing, material prep, loading work/tool offsets, etc. according to programmer specifications Coordinate with programmers on job progress & potential improvements Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion Load and unload equipment and materials Provide innovative solutions to improve shop efficiency Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the shop floor Log and record readings for machined parts ​Qualifications: Previous experience in shop operations or other related fields Familiarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to handle physical workload Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
