Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoice processing and ensuring accuracy in billing operations. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and technology-driven environment. Responsibilities: - Process invoices accurately using systems such as Ariba and Open Invoice. - Verify and validate billing details to ensure correctness and compliance. - Maintain organized records of accounts receivable and billing transactions. - Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve invoice discrepancies. - Ensure timely submission and tracking of invoices to support efficient operations. - Apply a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in billing processes. - Utilize technology tools effectively to streamline billing tasks. - Provide regular updates on billing activities and maintain clear documentation. - Assist in improving billing procedures for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles. - Proficiency with billing systems such as Ariba and Open Invoice. - Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in invoice processing. - Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to various software tools. - Effective organizational skills to manage billing records and workflows. - Excellent communication skills for resolving discrepancies and collaborating with teams. - Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines. - Familiarity with standard billing practices and procedures.
