To learn more: /en.Position Summary: Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a motivated Intern, Security Policy to support the Corporate Information Security Department (CISD). This role provides hands-on experience in Information security policy management, information security risk management, GRC processes, data cleaning, and cross functional collaboration. The CISD summer internship program is designed to provide skills, knowledge, and hands-on work experience in the information security and privacy industry, supporting the personal growth of our interns as well as Sony business results. This 12-week summer internship runs from June through August and offers a hybrid work option. Responsibilities: Assist with documenting and maintaining information security policies and proceduresResearch on best practices on security policy operational support across the industryLeverage AI in operationalizing security policy managementCreate, clean, organize & maintain policy SharePoint portalAssist with information security risk assessments for systems, applications, projects, and thirdparty vendorsPrepare and maintain policy documentation, reports, and clean, accurate GRC dataCollaborate with internal GISPA teams & business teams to track policy implementations, requirements & provide support as necessarySupport the global GRC platform, including data entry, intake tracking, and data quality managementHelp identify process, control, or data gaps and support improvement initiativesHonesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above.Qualifications: Current student pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related fieldInterest in information security, risk management, or GRCStrong analytical, documentation, and data handling skillsComfortable working with spreadsheets and reports; proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAll candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.The hourly rate for this internship depends on education level: $24.00 per hour for undergraduate candidates and $25.00-$27.00 per hour for graduate candidates.
