Together, let's lead the way in providing seamless, high-quality care to patients when they need it most.Position Summary:The Telemetry Technician plays a crucial role in our acute telehealth company by monitoring and analyzing real-time patient data to ensure the accurate and timely transmission of critical health information. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. As a Telemetry Technician, you will contribute to delivering high-quality remote patient care and facilitating prompt interventions when necessary.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with hospitalists to assist in patient care plans based on telemetry dataEnsure accurate documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) or other designated systemsTroubleshoot technical issues related to telemetry equipment and escalate to appropriate support teams as neededMaintain a thorough understanding of company protocols, policies, and standards for remote patient monitoringProvide clear and concise verbal and written communication to convey patient information to healthcare providers and remote care teamsParticipate in continuous training and professional development to stay up to date with advancements in telemetry technology and patient care practicesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilitiesRequirements:2+ years of hospital experience as a technicianAbility to pass Telemetry Technician competencyProficiency in using telemetry monitoring equipment and related software applicationsStrong understanding of cardiac rhythm interpretationFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentialityWork independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced and remote work environmentAvailability to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredKnowledge and Skills:Proficient in using telemetry monitoring equipment, ECG interpretation, and related softwareSolid understanding of medical terminology and cardiac physiologyStrong analytical skills to interpret patient data and recognize deviations from normal rangesEffective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and team membersAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracyFamiliarity with electronic health records (EHR) and remote patient monitoring platformsEducation:High school diploma or equivalentTelemetry Technician certificationPreferred AHA BLS certification.Preferred EKG CertificationIn addition to an hourly rate, this position is eligible for benefits, PTO, 401k, and continuing education (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors, including type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
