This role requires bridal gown alterations experience, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to connect with brides and their loved ones with warmth and professionalism. You will be the final voice of Luv and the last touchpoint in a bride's journey with us.What You'll DoAs a Seamstress/Alterations Specialist, your role will be part artistry, part customer care. Responsibilities include:Take precise body measurements (bust, waist, hips, inseam, etc.) and assess fitPerform expert alterations on bridal gowns using hand and industrial sewing techniquesPin, mark, and adjust garments as needed based on fittings and client feedbackRepair rips, reinforce seams, and make detailed adjustments as needed for fit and formCollaborate with stylists and showroom leaders to meet fitting timelines and expectationsProvide a warm, supportive, and professional presence during fittings working closely with both brides and their guestsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with gown care, steaming, or prep as neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in bridal alterations is requiredProficiency in hand and machine sewing techniquesExperience working with delicate and specialty fabrics (lace, tulle, satin, chiffon, etc.)Strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of garment structure and fitA warm, encouraging presence with excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work flexible hours based on business needs (fittings, events, peak seasons)Calm under pressure and passionate about creating exceptional moments for bridesThursday - Saturday availabilityWho You AreYou bring positivity, encouragement, and enthusiasm to every appointmentYou know how to make clients feel at ease even in emotional or high-stakes momentsYou take pride in your craft and understand the significance of your work in a bride's journeyYou're efficient, organized, and flexible when it comes to scheduling and prioritiesYou're a team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environmentReady to Join the Luv Team?We'd love to hear from you!
