POSITION DETAILS: * Salary range: $22.86 to $29.20 hourly with Excellent Benefits. * 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/13/26 * 3% Cost of Living adjustment increase effective 7/12/27 * Generally, salary placement is at the beginning of the salary range. * Advanced placement may be granted depending on related education and experience. * Full-time regular position * Schedule consists of a 4/10 typically working Tuesday through Friday. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Experience: * Two years of general maintenance experience performing field maintenance work within the assigned area of responsibility. License or Certificate: * Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class A driver license within one year (Landscape or Streets) of employment. * Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications within the first six months. * Additional industry-specific certifications may be required depending on area of assignment. JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description: Maintenance Worker I/II IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: * Experience in asphalt and concrete repair, along with general construction knowledge. * Knowledge of equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, and related tools. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt well to changing conditions, especially in traffic control. * Follow oral and written instructions accurately and efficiently. * Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting, shoveling, and other labor-intensive tasks. * Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within probationary period. * Ability to work in inclement weather and respond to after-hours, standby, and emergency callouts. * Dependable, strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
