Overview of Responsibilities - Casino Food Service is a place where everyone works hard to be the very best by being the friendliest and cleanest Casino Food Court in the United States. We offer opportunities for career advancement for managers who can lead a team of people that consistently deliver "Wow" service.Essential Job Duties - Provide ongoing training to the attendants/cooks on the technical and service aspects of the positionEnsure departmental goals are communicated, understood and met by attendants/cooksEnsure every Guest is thanked for their business and invited to return by the attendants assisting themCounsel attendants/cooks on work related concerns and issues to ensure satisfaction and productivity are maintained at a high standard, enlisting the assistance of management as neededProvide production direction to attendants/cooks in a clear and concise way, encourage ideas on improving productivity and efficiencySet an example for attendants/cooks by working hard to implement shift plan and ensure swift and smooth productionIdentify and resolve bottlenecks in food preparation to increase speed of serviceDemonstrate patience and a positive attitude with attendants/cooks while delegating tasks and giving instructionsWork with attendants/cooks to act on Guest feedback and resolve Guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional mannerDirect attendants/cooks to take pride in the details of delivering the "Wow" Guest serviceSet challenging goals for self and attendants/cooks during shift and ensure accountabilityDirects attendants/cooks to do what it takes to maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation standardsTakes initiative to immediately report violations of safety, sanitation or security policies to management and perform short-term solutionsComplete checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling during shiftHelps to remove performance barriers and provide resources for venue to perform wellAct as a supervisor on duty when supervisor is not present. Perform comps and voids as needed in compliance with departmental regulations; address any guest service issues ensuring the highest level of guest service is achieved.Complete additional duties as requiredQualifications - Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years food service experience with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.Strong communication skill both verbally and through written communicationsExcellent organizational & planning skillsAbility to work all shifts, weekends/holidays to perform dutiesAbility to lift up to 65 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, and communicate to departmental staff in a professional and clear mannerFull knowledge of all relevant federal, state and local regulations and sanitation standards Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
