Facility Services Manager

Facility Services Manager oversees all care, maintenance and project needs for the Lied Center for Performing Arts, including physical plant and its operating systems, interior furnishings and fixtures. Directs all aspects of building maintenance and housekeeping, conversion and engineering tasks related to the operation of the Lied Center. Oversees the supervision of the building maintenance staff and manages the custodial staff. Conducts yearly staff performance evaluations and ensures adherence to building policy and procedures. Plans and budgets for renovation projects, building upkeep, repairs, furnishing replacements and fire, life and safety projects. Creates the scope of work required for projects to be worked in-house, or seeks out contractors and bids and works with UNL FMP code officials on acquiring permits, scheduling work, quality control, ensuring regulatory and code compliance and ensuring deadlines are met and work is performed in a professional manner.
