Job Description

Title: Manufacturing Technician Working hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PST Duration: 4 months Overtime: As per business need Travel: As per business need What we’re looking for: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Technician. What you’ll be doing; Mix 2 stage epoxy in accordance with established SOP to ensure proper mix is achieved with little to no voids. Apply mixed epoxy in components in accordance with established SOP ensuring proper adherence to prepped surfaces. Perform visual inspection to ensure color and application of epoxy is correct and consistent. Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements of various product lines of parts and work to achieve published schedule without compromising quality. Support Sub-Assembly or Deburr operations, as required, or during periods of low epoxy application demand. This includes the following Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Comprehensive understanding of, and ability to use all forms of power deburr / edge break tools (air and electric) and their associated attachments (carbide burrs, flex hones, cartridge rolls, unitized points etc…) Competent with the use of manual deburr tools (deburr knives, countersinks, files etc..) Ability to interpret information and perform detailed deburr and edge break operations (Aerospace / Defense standard or equivalent) on various engine components of differing materials, through verbal and written instruction (physical sample, engineering blueprint, printed SOP etc…) Competent with various forms of measuring equipment (eg. micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, go/no-go gauges, etc …) Strong mechanical or component assembly experience Working knowledge of both the inch and metric measuring systems Previous experience in a Production environment with multiple departments working together Added bonus if you have (Preferred): Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious Effective communication skills Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements
