This role is ideal for an HR leader who combines strong analytical rigor, Power BI expertise, and program ownership to drive measurable improvements in employee engagement, retention, and development. This role goes far beyond traditional HR administration. You will own HR analytics strategy, translate complex HR data into actionable insights, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, and lead large‑scale HR initiatives using data to inform decisions. You will also manage a Learning & Development Specialist while partnering closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders to ensure HR programs deliver clear, measurable business impact. Top Must‑Haves * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field * Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel, including dashboard development, trend analysis, and data visualization * Strong experience working with HRIS platforms (Workday strongly preferred) to extract, analyze, and interpret HR data * 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience with ownership of HR analytics, metrics, and reporting * Proven ability to lead large‑scale HR programs using data‑driven decision‑making * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior leaders and influence outcomes What You'll Do HR Analytics & Business Intelligence Leadership * Own and evolve the HR analytics framework, ensuring accurate, meaningful, and actionable insights across retention, engagement, performance, learning, and workforce trends * Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting to track HR KPIs, trends, and program effectiveness * Leverage Workday and other HR data sources to analyze workforce metrics and identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas * Translate complex HR data into clear narratives and recommendations for HR and executive leadership Program & Project Leadership * Lead and manage data‑driven HR programs focused on employee retention, engagement, learning, and talent development * Translate analytics insights into targeted action plans and measurable HR initiatives * Oversee large‑scale HR projects from scoping and planning through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement * Establish success metrics and accountability for HR initiatives, ensuring initiatives deliver quantifiable business value People & Stakeholder Leadership * Manage and mentor a Learning & Development Specialist, providing strategic direction grounded in data and outcomes * Partner with HR leaders and cross‑functional teams to align HR programs with business priorities * Present findings, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leaders with confidence and clarity Process Improvement * Apply Lean methodologies to analyze and optimize HR processes using data * Continuously improve HR reporting, analytics workflows, and measurement practices Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
