As part of our Product Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the design, validation, and manufacturing support of new products, as well as improving existing products and processes. We are looking for a Product Engineer to support our Wickenburg, AZ team. Apply today and become a member of an innovative, high-performance organization that is growing!Our Total Rewards Package includes: ANNUAL BONUS Program for ALL Members Competitive Starting Pay Based on Experience 11 Paid Holidays plus 3 Extra Paid Holiday Break Days A Generous Paid Time Off Package Excellent Benefits Package including: LOW HSA and PPO Medical Insurance Options LOW and NO COST Dental and Vision Insurance Options Accident, Hospital, and Critical Illness Insurance Options Company Paid Life Insurance, Short - Term Disability and Long - Term Disability 401K Plan Employer Match & Annual Profit Sharing What You'll Do• Design new products and improve existing equipment• Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks• Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost• Lead multiple engineering projects• Work directly with production to solve shop-floor issues• Improve product performance, safety, and reliabilityRequired Skills/Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong mechanical background Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software is a must with a minimum of 5 years experience, good parametric modeling techniques, and bottoms-up design Proficient with basic measuring equipment and processes with the ability to reverse engineer parts and shapes Basic Knowledge of manufacturing processes/practices, machining, welding, sheet metal and shop tools Ability to design for manufacturability and serviceability, as well as think outside of the box to produce viable solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with Production Team and Vendors on new product design and production issue resolution Experience using Microsoft Office tools, excel, word, & PowerPointPreferred Skills/Experience: Modeling with surfaces and sheet metal features in SolidWorks Knowledge in Welding processes, tooling & fixture design would be a big plus Some basic electronics experience wiring harnesses would be a plus Some experience in hydraulics and pneumatics QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline is required. A broad understanding of machine structures, mechanisms, metal fabrication, and other manufacturing processes is required. An understanding of hydraulics, electronics or electrical systems, pneumatics, and machine controls may also be required depending on product line assignment.
