Your extensive experience in AWS, Serverless architecture, Python, React, and mobile development will be essential in building scalable and innovative solutions that shape the future of body scanning technology. You will report to the VP of Engineering and lead multiple development teams, drive technical strategy, and maintain direct relationships with key customers to ensure our solutions exceed their expectations.More specifically, we're looking for someone who can say "yes" to the following:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) + 10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years in leadership rolesProven track record as a senior engineering leader with experience managing multiple teams and complex technical initiativesStrong skills in communicating technical topics to non-technical stakeholder and customers as well as C-suite.Strong hands-on technical skills in full stack development with deep expertise in AWS, Serverless architecture, Python, and ReactMobile application development experience (iOS/Android, React Native, Flutter, or native development)Experience leading cross-platform development strategies and mobile-first product initiativesDemonstrated success in scaling engineering organizations and establishing technical best practicesStrong leadership and team-building skills with experience mentoring senior developers and technical leadsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with C-level executives, customers, and technical stakeholdersExperience in customer-facing roles and managing enterprise client relationshipsDeep familiarity with Agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern project management toolsProven track record of delivering complex software solutions on aggressive timelines while maintaining quality standardsStrategic thinking ability with experience in technical roadmap planning and resource allocationPassion for 3D Body Scanning technology and a desire to drive Size Stream's continued market leadershipKey ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic technical leadership for Size Stream's platform and mobile engineering initiativesLead and scale multiple development teams, establishing clear career development paths and fostering a culture of innovationDrive the technical strategy and architecture decisions for both web platform and mobile applicationsSolve complex technical challenges that deliver significant business value and competitive advantageCollaborate with executive leadership to align technical roadmap with business objectivesEstablish and maintain engineering best practices, code quality standards, and security protocolsManage resource allocation, project portfolios, and development milestones across multiple concurrent initiativesBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key enterprise customers and partnersStay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving adoption of innovative solutionsPartner with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure technical solutions meet market demandsOversee mobile app strategy and development to enhance user engagement and expand market reachCompensationCompetitive salary, commensurate with experience, and comprehensive benefits package.The role is based in our Cary office.Size Stream is an equal opportunity employer.
