Immediate Opening Growth Opportunities Supportive Work Environment Schedule: Full time; Friday to Tuesday, 11:00AM to 7:30PM Pay rate: $18.00 hourlyPosition Overview: Ensure the highest level of customer service at assigned location. This is a temp-to-hire position, initially hired on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.Essential Job Functions: Provide valet service by safely driving, parking, retrieving, and ensuring vehicle safety at all times for customers and guests. Communicate in a polite, upbeat, and friendly manner with customers and guests at all times. Assist guests and customers willingly and in a friendly manner with their bags, luggage, or other items as needed. Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work environment for guests and customers at all times. Some light housekeeping duties are required. Maintain PCI's uniformed high standards of appearance and grooming, at all times. Learn and comply with all safety and operating standards of vehicle and passenger safety. Report all incidents and accidents and unsafe situations to the manager or supervisor immediately. Drive customer's/guest's vehicle at a posted or safe speed. Never misuse, change or take any items from the customer's/guest's vehicle, except to adjust driver's seat to operate vehicle in a safe manner. All Valet drivers must be at least 21 years of age to meet the requirements of our insurance company. Valid and current California drivers license. Good driving record and pass a background check. The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus. Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends). Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired). The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints. The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
