We are launching an 18 month program for those seeking an intensive pathway to becoming a Certified Club Fitter within our company. The ultimate goal of this rigorous program is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a Club Fitter. As a Fitter in Training, you'll embark on a comprehensive and immersive journey designed to develop your expertise in club fitting and sales. Learning the business as a store associate, participants will engage in specific training, mentoring and hands-on experience leading to a position as a 2nd Swing Certified Club Fitter. Please be aware that admission into this highly selective program will be limited to only the most qualified and motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude and interest in club fitting. Qualified candidates must be eager to learn, dedicated to professional growth, possess a desire to give back to the game of golf and committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.Responsibilities:In order to learn the entirety of our retail business at the store level, each participant in the program will spend time in the following areas :Building rapport with golfersCreating positive, engaging and best in industry one-on-one fitting experiences Utilization of Trackman launch monitors, Quintic and Foresight systems to facilitate fittingsGuiding golfers through the equipment selection processProduct merchandising and organizationExtending customer service through trade-in transactions and point-of-saleExecuting club repairAccomplishing related tasks as neededQualifications: A passion for the game of golfExperience as a tournament or college level playerAbove average knowledge of golf equipment and technologyAptitude for understanding the technical aspects of golf equipmentPrevious employment in golf industry (Preferred)Full-Time Benefits:Employee Programs such as PGA membership dues supportPaid Time Off401k company matchHealth InsuranceHSA/FSADiscounted MerchandiseContinued Training and DevelopmentHealth and Wellness InitiativesWork Life BalanceCompensation:$24 - $28 per hour based on golf experience Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
