Delivery Merchandiser The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager.Primary ObjectiveFunctionsFill, rotate, and merchandise products in cold vaults, shelves and displaysMove product from pallets to cooler to stock using a hand truckOrganize, rotate, and maintain backroom coolers for easy accessMaintain professional behavior with all accounts servicedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to satisfy the customers' needsAbility to work independentlyWillingness to work quickly to keep within assigned hoursAbility to meet physical demands (lifting to 50lbs)The Delivery Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Delivery Manager and Area Delivery Managers. In addition, they are required to functionally lift and maneuver up to 165 pounds. with the assistance of a hand truck or lifting implement. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. In addition, the exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from quiet to loud.
