Individuals who have the confidence to lead but the humility to never stoplearning.Could this be you?The Market Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for leading market physicians and APPs inconsistently delivering Our client 's proactive, team-based care model, focused on driving bothimproved patient outcomes, as well as an exceptional patient and physician and APP experience.In partnership with operational leadership, this role will be accountable for leading clinicalmodel execution and delivering improved clinical outcomes against plan. To deliver results, theMarket Chief Medical Officer will leverage established governance structures and clinicalleaders to ensure efficient, consistent execution of the clinical model across all clinics. This rolewill be expected to continually enhance and expand physician and APP leadership capabilities todevelop and support an aligned, mission-focused culture. This role will be 80%+ administrative,enabling a day-in, day-out focus on supporting market physicians and APPs to deliver highquality, patient-centric primary care. How you can make a difference• Support clinical onboarding processes for new physicians and APPs; ensure deepunderstanding of Our client mission and values• Develop a deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape, including how deployedstrategies potentially impact Village Medical's PCP-focused care model• Partner with operational teams to lead physicians and APPs in the implementation andexecution of clinical programs; support market operations leadership and participate inweekly/monthly/quarterly reviews• Establish data-driven, quantifiable objectives and manage strategic and financial plansrequired to deliver on commitments• Partner with market leadership to build a culture of continuous feedback andimprovement; serve as the ultimate owner for physician and APP engagement andexperience• Actively support and mentor market clinical leaders, including Practice MedicalDirectors, APP-Directors, and other functional clinical leaderso Ensure clear accountability for performance results against plano Monitor execution of performance improvement plans and established actionplans• Champion new clinical initiatives and reiterate alignment of innovation to the broaderclinical model. Lead with "the why" and support change management• Actively support market growth initiatives, including physician and APP recruitment andacquisition support; educate prospective physicians and APPs on the overall clinicalvalue of the model• Support network development activities, including clinical support for determining highquality partners• Establish strong relationships with payer partners and actively participate in contractnegotiations and performance reviews Skills for success• High emotional intelligence, the ability to forge meaningful relationships, and successnavigating diverse stakeholder groups• A keen sense of personal accountability for delivering individual and team results• Experience performing with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment todoing what you say you will do• Move quickly to mitigate barriers to success and deploy effective change managementprocesses to maximize opportunities for improvement• A core belief in a primary care led model and its potential for driving improved clinicaloutcomes• Comfortable being a hands-on leader with a track record of "rolling up your sleeves" todrive desired outcomes• Willingness to dive into data despite experience levelExperience to drive change• Strong track record of fostering physician, APP, and operational stakeholder engagement• Demonstrated ability driving clinical initiatives via a structured physician and APPgovernance framework• Ability to lead across a matrixed structure with both market and enterprise clinicalleaders• A metric-driven leader with a history of consistently delivering on- or above-planperformance• A hands-on leader with a player-coach mentality that is willing and able to provide "inthe weeds" assistance to local teams• Ability to quickly gain credibility and establish the required relationships to influence andgenerate results; can quickly influence market partners to take action• MD/DO requiredHow you will thriveIn addition to competitive salaries, a 401k program with company match, bonus and a valuablehealth benefits package, Our client offers paid parental leave, pre-tax savings on commuterexpenses, and generous paid time off.
