Job DescriptionOur client, a world leader in gene therapy and life sciences, is looking for a "Analytical Scientist" based out of Philadelphia, PA.Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)Pay Rate : $42.50/hr on W2Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401KThe High Throughput Analytics & Operations team is seeking an Analytical Scientist to support routine analytical testing and documentation for gene therapy development programs. This role will contribute to the characterization of Recombinant Adeno-Associated Virus (rAAV) vectors through a range of analytical and bioanalytical assays while ensuring accurate data reporting in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine analytical testing including compendial assays (endotoxin, bioburden, pH, osmolality, visual inspection).Execute molecular assays (qPCR, dPCR), immunoassays such as Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay, and cell-based potency assays.Operate automated liquid handling platforms (Tecan, Hamilton) to support high-throughput sample testing.Author and review technical reports for GxP studies and manage document workflows in Veeva Vault.Maintain accurate documentation in electronic lab notebooks and analyze experimental data using tools such as GraphPad Prism and SoftMax Pro.Prepare reagents, buffers, and laboratory materials for analytical testing.Support sample management, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and laboratory operations.QualificationsBS or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.Experience with compendial assays (endotoxin, bioburden, etc.).Familiarity with molecular assays, immunoassays, or cell-based assays preferred.Experience with GxP documentation and technical report writing is highly desirable.Exposure to liquid handling automation platforms (Tecan or Hamilton) is a plus.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.If interested, please send us your updated resume athr@/akansha@
