A bit about us:We are working with an established company in the Transportation industry that is looking to expand their Accounting team.This role is great for an individual who has the hunger to progress their Accounting careers, as this role would be a potential fast track to Management within the next year.Why join us?Competitive pay + fast track for upward mobility!Great team environmentContinued YOY growthGood benefits provided for all employesJob DetailsWe are seeking a Staff Accountant (on-site role) to join our small but mighty team of 5x in Accounting.Some duties will include:Handling AP/AR and vendor/customer paymentsMaintaining GAAP-compliant accounting recordsPreparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statementsSupporting audits and ensure internal controlsFiling sales, use, payroll, and other tax returnsProvide financial reports and analysis for leadershipThe IEAL Candidate will come with: 3+ years in Accounting Good knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting ideally a degree in Accounting/finance but Not required Proficiency in Accounting systems (QuickBooks or other software)Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
