LAFAYETTE AVIATORS - INTERNSHIP - SUMMER 2026FOCUS: Social Media & GraphicsThe Lafayette (IN) Aviators () are a summer collegiate baseball team in the Prospect League, giving collegiate players the chance to compete in a wood-bat league during the summer months in front of professional scouts. At the same time, we provide the local community with an affordable, fun, and family-friendly summer entertainment experience.The Aviators play at Loeb Stadium, which opened in 2021 and features stadium suites and a variety of premium seating options.The Aviators organization has developed an intensive internship program designed to prepare participants for careers in sports. Interns immediately become part of the game day staff, gaining hands-on experience in stadium operations, fan engagement, ticket sales, and marketing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Interns learn by doing, working through real situations encountered at the ballpark, with daily discussions to reflect, problem-solve, and grow professionally.While interns will be exposed to all aspects of team and stadium operations, we are seeking a small number of individuals for a game entertainment-focused internship that provides the opportunity to develop communication, marketing, game presentation, customer service, and organizational skills.This internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent college graduates. Internship is unpaid and for college credit.Ideal CandidateAvailable to start May 13th through approximately August 12th (dates can be adjusted)Able to work 30-40 hours per weekAvailable for all 30 home games and potential playoff games during the 2024 seasonComfortable assisting with social media posts across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)Skilled in creating and editing graphics for social media contentAble to help plan and execute game day social media coverageWilling to assist with website graphics and digital contentCapable of creating, shooting, and editing engaging content during games for Instagram and TikTokAble to research trends and content ideas to enhance fan engagementWe are an equal opportunity employer.
