Job Details: Job Title: Test Technician Location: McKinney Texas Duration: 12 Months Pay rate range: $26.39 - $29.56/hour 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Description: Training Information: • Training may occur on 1st shift • Duration of training for 2nd and 3rd shift until the technician is fully comfortable • Weekend work may be required after training is complete. Position Summary: We are seeking Test Technicians across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift to support testing, troubleshooting, and verification of advanced electronic products. These roles involve hands on work with a wide range of test equipment, engineering documentation, and proprietary systems. Candidates must demonstrate strong initiative, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform product testing using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents. • Set up and operate a wide range of electronic test equipment. • Troubleshoot electronic assemblies and components. • Load software and firmware as part of testing processes. • Document test results accurately and thoroughly. • Move materials on and off test platforms as needed. • Collaborate with cross functional teams and maintain a strong safety focus. Required Qualifications: • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree OR equivalent post secondary technical training • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or military electronics training • Ability to read and interpret: o Schematics o Wiring diagrams o Engineering drawings • Experience with RF, digital, and analog testing • Ability to perform software and firmware loads • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills • Ability to work with minimal supervision • No clearance required while on contract • Must be able to obtain a clearance if converted to a direct employee Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. • Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 25–50 lbs). • Ability to work in a lab or production floor environment with electronic equipment. • Ability to use hands and fingers for handling components, tools, and test equipment. • Must follow all safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) protocols.
