Sr Quality Engineer | REMOTE

P1 Notes: Fully remote. Quality Engineering role that is heavily focused on data validation and backend testing rather than UI testing.This position supports one of our core applications, specifically on the data side, and requires someone with strong experience in: Testing stored procedures, ETL processes (primarily SSIS), and data pipelinesValidating reports and ensuring data integrityWorking within Microsoft data backend servicesCollaborating in a Scrum team environment with a focus on data analytics/engineering from a QE perspective100% telecommute. Description:Projects include but not limited to web portal security enhancements, medical chart import/export processing. Risk Adjustment and Quality application enhancementsResponsibilitiesDefine acceptance test objectives, test cases and assist in system and integration testingResolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigationBring new ideas and initiatives to improve test automation for UI and Non-UI applications while having integration with CI processesTest and validate applications to ensure accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and scalabilityContribute to the continuous improvement of the quality engineering team and processesContribute code, tests cases, automation, and test design to an agile team of engineers working across the application stack and portfolioCollaborate with scrum teams in grooming user stories and developing acceptance criteria so that we can deliver quality to our customers ideal candidate background Experience working in the healthcare industryUnderstanding of Risk Adjustment and Quality Management business in health care skills/attributes requiredUndergrad degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of development experience creating test case automation2+ years of experience working with SQL server technologies2+ years of experience with Javascript and single-page applicationsProven ability to effectively work independently or with a team as a quality engineerProven ability to effectively articulate and communicate concerns, issues or inquires in a timely mannerskills/attributes preferred Azure cloud experienceProfessional oral and written communication skillsExperience with CICD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHubExperience with Test Driven DevelopmentRequired Skills : Embedded Coding Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check : No Drug Screen : No
