Accounting ClerkLocation: South Bend, IN (100% onsite) About the Company and Opportunity:• Our client is a reliable and well-established organization with a strong focus on financial accuracy and operational support.• This role offers hands-on experience in daily accounting tasks and administrative support within a collaborative team.• Employees enjoy a structured and detail-oriented environment with opportunities for cross-training and growth. Key Responsibilities:• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.• Assist with data entry, invoice coding, and filing.• Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records.• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department. Preferred Qualifications:• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
