Business Intelligence Engineer / Data EngineerHybrid RoleCompensation: $64 ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer/Data Engineer to join their Marketing Analytics team. In this role, you will focus on optimizing and maintaining Python data pipelines, implementing best practices for code documentation and version control, and developing comprehensive Power BI data models to drive marketing analytics initiatives. You will play a key role in designing scalable marketing data infrastructure, building interactive dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. The position also involves developing and maintaining ETL processes, troubleshooting data pipeline issues, and establishing coding standards and documentation protocols. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to document and clean up the existing Python codebase, implement robust error reporting systems, develop comprehensive Power BI data models, reduce data pipeline errors, and enhance marketing insights through improved BI solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DODesign and architect scalable marketing data infrastructure to support current and future analytical needsDevelop and optimize Power BI data models and interactive dashboards tailored for marketing analyticsCreate and automate marketing dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BIDesign Power BI dashboard templates to meet the goals of each line of business (LOB)Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate analytical requirementsEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across all BI solutionsUse Python for advanced data analysis, modeling, automation, and audience segmentationDevelop scripts for marketing reporting, anomaly detection, and audience segmentationDevelop audience segmentation and clustering models to identify high-value customer groups and optimize campaign targetingDevelop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate GA4 and other marketing platforms and data productsMaintain and optimize existing Python scripts for data extraction and file transfer processesDebug, troubleshoot, and monitor data pipeline issues to ensure reliable data flowImplement comprehensive error reporting and monitoring systemsEnsure all code adheres to security protocols and compliance requirementsDocument all code and processes in GitHub with clear, maintainable documentationCreate technical documentation and data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and consistencyRefactor and clean up existing codebase for improved maintainability and scalabilityImplement version control best practices using GitHubEstablish coding standards and documentation protocolsConduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance processes WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence rolesStrong proficiency in Python programming and data manipulation librariesExtensive experience with Power BI development and data modelingSolid understanding of marketing analytics concepts and KPIsExperience with GitHub and version control systemsKnowledge of data security protocols and compliance requirementsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent documentation and communication skillsCommand of Google Analytics / Google BigQuery (GBQ) (preferred)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) (preferred)Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (Sales Cloud) (preferred)Command of SQL and database management systems (preferred)Familiarity with data visualization best practices (preferred)Understanding of statistical analysis and data science concepts (preferred)Certification in Power BI or related BI tools (preferred) WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUOpportunity to work in a dynamic, data-driven marketing analytics environmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams and marketing stakeholdersContribute to impactful marketing strategies through advanced analytics and BI solutionsFlexible hybrid work arrangementCompetitive compensationProfessional growth and development opportunitiesDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
