JOB SUMMARY:Client Service Advocates provide quality service and meaningful interactions filling a client-facing role within the organization. As the direct point of interaction with clients, CSA's are themain support and source of referrals and case management for existing and potential AYAclients. Client Service Advocates ensure that the individuals we serve receive the informationand resources necessary for long-term success.QUALIFICATIONS:• Must have a minimum of two years of verifiable work experience in the social servicefield or relevant education in place of experience or a combination of both.• Must have a high school diploma or GED• The ability to creatively problem solve in collaboration with the position requiresattention to detail and the ability to work with clients. Must be able to perform a needs-based assessment to address mental, social, and physical health programs which maybenefit participants.• Ability to provide access to and match clients with community project partners and state agencies to facilitate awareness of wrap-around services available to the individuals and households servedEssential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and the community partnersAssess and gather information pertaining to new and existing clientsPlanning and goal setting as part of case management activitiesComplete weekly check-in with each assigned individual on the current caseloadComplete documentation and client information data entry appropriately and timelyUnderstanding of and ability to recommend and make available local resourcesAbility to follow directions and multi-task in a fast-moving environmentEffectively manage time and tasksAbility to self-start and ask for guidance when neededDesire to help others and the ability to provide case management without biasResponsible for one week in on-call rotation every four weeks to answer crisis lineCSAs serve a variety of secondary roles and, with training, may be assigned to one or more programs which include but are not limited to: Intake and Outreach ServicesClient ScreeningData ResearchCase ManagementEvent SupportInventory TrackingOn-site Residential SupportAll other duties as assignedKnowledge Skills and Ability Required:Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Bonding and/or Testing may be required:Criminal Justice Fingerprint ClearanceValid First Aid card may be requiredRate of Pay$17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience
