Internal Audit Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Intern to support our Internal Audit team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to internal controls, risk assessment, and audit processes while offering insight into how audits support operational efficiency, compliance, and financial integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with internal audit projects, including planning, testing, and documentationAttend walkthroughs and perform testing of internal controls under supervisionHelp analyze processes to identify control gaps, risks, and improvement opportunitiesHeavily involve SOX testing and documentationAssist with data analysis and preparation of audit workpapers and reportsCollaborate with audit team members on ongoing and ad hoc projectsCoordinate with control owners and external auditorsQualificationsCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in accounting, finance, business, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalismWhat You'll GainPractical experience in internal audit and risk managementExposure to internal controls, compliance, and audit methodologiesMentorship from experienced audit professionalsDevelopment of analytical, documentation, and critical thinking skillsPreferences• Undergrad or Post Graduate Students
