Barista - Cashier

Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA is seeking an experienced energetic Barista/Cashier to join our team at our exciting new Bakehouse location. I'm sure you are asking yourself what is a barista? Well, we are glad you asked. A Barista is someone who makes and/or serves coffee and coffee-based beverages. The ideal person for this role is someone that is familiar with providing excellent customer service early in the morning and weekends at our Bakehouse/Coffee location housed on the Augusta Campus. The Barista/cashier will be one of the smiling faces on the Bakehouse team.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Greeting customers in a friendly manner Preparing and serving beverages such as coffee, tea simple to elaborate, Preparing and serving food items, promoting menu selections Answering customer questions Keeping the work environment organized and sanitary Working to attract new customers with their knowledge of fresh baker itemsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Persons working in the café must be able to work with other staff members, lead workers and supervisors on the team. Basic Math Skills Ability to push/lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand for at least 6 hours per day Able to work a flexible work schedule to include Saturdays
