POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader for our Press operations on the 2nd shift at our Lebanon, TN facility. This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Operations Supervisor and Manager. The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing press operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols. As a Team Leader, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your team members during the shift, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure operational excellence. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Supervise and lead a team of press operators during the 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules * Monitor press operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance and product quality * Conduct regular quality checks and ensure compliance with all quality control procedures * Identify and address production bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, and other operational issues in a timely manner * Train and mentor team members on proper operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards * Coordinate with maintenance personnel to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance * Maintain accurate production records and prepare shift reports for management review * Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety * Ensure proper material handling and inventory management within the press area * Collaborate with other departments and shifts to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operations * Participate in daily production meetings and communicate relevant information to team members * Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth SHIFT INFORMATION This position works on the 2nd shift with competitive shift differential pay. The Team Leader must be available to work overtime as required to meet production demands.
