Job Type Full-timeDescriptionTasks ResponsibilitiesPerform and assist with public company audits and reviews in various industries under PCAOB standardsPrepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controlsAssist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-upUnderstanding of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting standardsDevelop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlinesInteract with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficientCommunicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that ariseRequirementsSkillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex audit issues in plain languageAttention to detail and dedication to qualityStrong project management, problem solving, and analytical skillsStrong leadership, training, mentoring and staff development skillsProven experience working independently and managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environmentDependability, integrity, and trustworthiness combined with a team mentalityExperience And EducationMinimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting1-2 years in relevant positionStrong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.0)CPA or actively working toward passing the CPA ExamMust maintain required CPE credits annuallySalary Description $68,640.00 - $85,000.00/annual
