Compliance/NEBS Engineer

Responsibilities:• Experience working as a product compliance and Validation Engineer for electromechanical products• Telecom equipment product testing knowledge/experience is an added advantage• Good knowledge about NEBS standards and test requirements for telecom products.• Participates on a project team of engineers involved in the specification, design, development and test of hardware. Defines the unit and system level test processes and procedures• Setting up prototypes in the lab for various NEBS compliance tests (Thermocouple installation, vibration bench set up, Acoustics test setup, EMI EMC test set up etc)• Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to interact with other design disciplines, Hardware, Safety, EMC/EMI, SI and Manufacturing Engineers to help them isolate and fix system problems to meet the standards• Good communication skills and experience with Microsoft products for generating reports and other functional aspects
