CAD Designer

BlackRock Resources is seeking a skilled CAD Designer for our engineering client in Canonsburg. You will work from detailed sketches and verbal or written direction to produce computer-generated models, plans, base maps, profiles, cross-sections, details, figures, overlays and simple isometric drawings. Job details: * Provide AutoCAD/Civil 3D design support for various Engineering and Construction projects * Prepare and label preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings * Work directly with project engineers to learn design skills for a variety of projects * Opportunity to work in an innovative environment Skills and Qualifications: * High School Diploma required. * Associate degree with related AutoCAD experience preferred * Certificate in an AutoCAD related training course or work equivalent * 2-5 years of related AutoCAD experience * Understanding of creation and compilation of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D * High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) * Capability to work independently and as a team player * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required * AutoCAD/Civil 3D training and/or relative experience. * Attention to detail * Ability to speak and write professionally. #LI-HS1 #ZR
