This individual will work closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team to maintain strong financial controls and support the company's growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and client billing. Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Prepare and execute bi-weekly payroll processing.Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.Collaborate with team members to track project budgets, expenses, and revenue recognition. Participate in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliation. Aid in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by the CFO. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or entry-level roles considered).Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and office equipmentStrong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively in a team and independently.Why Alta?See your impact.
