Job Title: Assistant DirectorLocation: Huntington Learning Center - Round RockPosition Type: Full-time (In-Center Only)Compensation: $40,000-$50,000 including bonus structure and benefitsAbout Huntington Learning CenterFounded in 1977 by Dr. Raymond and Eileen Huntington, Huntington Learning Center is the nation's longest-running provider of supplemental education services. At our Cedar Park/North Austin and Round Rock, TX locations, we provide individualized academic support for K-12 students, including:Academic skill building in reading, writing, math, and study skillsSubject tutoring across a range of grade levels and content areasSAT/ACT and standardized test preparationOur mission is simple: to give every student the best education possible.Make an Impact While Growing Your CareerWe're looking for a driven, organized, and people-focused Assistant Center Director to help manage daily operations and support our admin team. You'll be a key point of contact for families-keeping them informed, addressing their needs, and making sure their students are making real progress.This is a fast-paced, multitasking role where you'll wear many hats-from managing schedules and systems to working directly with students and parents. You'll join a passionate team committed to creating a positive, productive learning environment for all.What You'll DoStudent & Family ExperienceDeliver one-on-one or small-group instruction in reading, writing, and mathBuild strong relationships with students and familiesAnswer phones, respond to texts and emails, and manage walk-in inquiriesHandle customer service concerns with empathy and professionalismTake tuition payments and explain program details to familiesFacilitate new student onboarding and ensure consistent, high-quality service throughout the student life cycleCenter OperationsManage daily schedules for students and teachers, adapting quickly to last-minute changesMaintain accurate student records, including attendance, assessments, and tuition statusProcess and track tuition payments and monthly invoicesMonitor office inventory and manage suppliesTeam SupportAssist with student behavior management as neededHelp recruit and onboard new staff, and provide ongoing support to teachersParticipate in marketing initiatives and local outreach eventsConduct regular student progress check-ins and communicate updates to other adminsWhat You BringBachelor's degree requiredMust be able to work evenings and weekendsPrior experience in education, tutoring, customer service, business admin, or related fieldsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesAble to switch between tasks and manage interruptions gracefullyProfessionalism, warmth, and the ability to stay calm under pressureTech-savviness and ease navigating multiple systemsComfortable navigating multiple digital platforms, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, Calendly, payment processors, and internal proprietary systemsWhat We OfferHealth, dental, and disability insurance (starting Day 1)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) eligibility and performance-based bonus structurePaid training and ongoing professional developmentAnnual cost-of-living salary adjustmentJoin Our Mission-Driven TeamIf you're passionate about helping students succeed-and thrive in a role where every day is different-we'd love to meet you.
