Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IAM (Identity and Access Management) Engineer to join our Risk and Security consulting practice. In this client-facing role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across a diverse customer base. You'll work closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess current IAM capabilities, and deliver customized, secure, and scalable identity solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in identity governance, authentication, privileged access, and federation technologies, along with a strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Client Engagement & Consulting:  Act as a senior technical consultant to customers, providing expertise in IAM architecture, implementation, and strategy.  Lead IAM workshops, assessments, and design sessions with technical and business stakeholders.  Translate client requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps that align with security frameworks and organizational goals.  Serve as the primary point of contact for IAM engagements, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. - IAM Solution Delivery:  Design, implement, and configure enterprise IAM solutions for customers using leading tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), etc.  Integrate IAM systems with customer environments (cloud and on-premise), applications, and directories using protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SCIM.  Develop and automate workflows for user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and governance. - Security & Compliance:  Help customers align IAM programs with compliance mandates (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) and security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).  Conduct IAM assessments, maturity evaluations, and risk analyses to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.  Guide clients in adopting zero trust principles and modern IAM strategies. Knowledge Sharing & Enablement:  Provide training and knowledge transfer to customer teams.  Produce high-quality documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and playbooks.  Contribute to internal knowledge bases, playbooks, and templates for IAM engagements Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of experience in IAM engineering or related security role. - Deep understanding of IAM concepts including identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, and federation. - Hands on experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk, or similar. - Proficiency in identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Kerberos. - Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and integration. - Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating cloud IAM with on-prem solutions. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, etc.). - Proven ability to lead technical discussions with clients, capture requirements, and architect tailored solutions. - Consulting or professional services background. Preferred: - IAM-related certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Consultant, SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP, CIAM). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and API integrations. - Experience in zero-trust security architecture and implementation. Background in DevOps or SecDevOps environments. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $99000.00 - $148300.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
