REMOTE Residential Drafter - REMOTE work (office based out of Frisco, TX)Length of Assignment: 6-Month ContractCompensation: $18-$25 hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)Currently searching for a drafter, to work remotely from a home office, to assist in increased demand.Summary:Our client offers forensic structural engineering services nationwide. They have a network of licensed professional engineers that are experienced in all types of structures and have investigated many different types of losses, including floods, tornadoes/wind damage, hail/roof losses, wind/water claims, blast/vibration claims, and many others.Responsibilities: Performs assigned production of architectural, structural, and building enclosure working drawings. Understand and execute "redlines" revisions to drawings Develop details from sketches generated by Project Managers Demonstrate awareness of coordination with specifications/project scope. Provides ongoing support and assistance to Project Managers. Ensure project deliverables adhere to company and client standards with attention to quality, budget, and schedule constraints. Follows established organization of documents, drawings, layouts, and files. Create documents using identified standards, ensuring continuity in work product.Required Education, Experience & Skills: High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years of progressive drawing production experience, or the equivalent in education and experience. Revit and/or AutoCAD Proficiency. Advanced verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage individual goals and time. Ability to maintain project schedules and manage deadlines on multiple projects. Critical thinking - takes initiative - self-motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook.Preferred Skills: 2-year Technical Degree, or equivalent Previous experience working for a forensic engineering firm Understanding of general building components and construction. Previous experience on a construction site as an observer for the periodic duration of projects. Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standard for designing enclosure components.
